Dear All,

I am using a Dell Latitude D600 which has a radeon mobility 9000

Vesa version on boot up shows version 2.0

I read everywhere that I should be able to set the resolution to 1400x1050x32 ???

But I have tried everything and still cannot get it to work at 1400x1050x32 ...

I have deleted all the ATI*kext extensions from /system/library/extensions and it still does not work

I have also edited the plist file to include the resolution data and it also does not work

can someone help me please ???

If it is my radeon 9000 having only Vesa version 2.0

then is there some way where I can upgrade the vesa version to 3.0 ???

so very sorry for troubling you ...

I found out the problem

It seems that I only got a Xga monitor and not a SXga monitor

I can only go up to 1024x768 in Windows XP Pro anyways

So I guess I cannot have any exortic 1400x1050x32 resolution
