Got my G0 Q6600 but haven't tried to boot OS X yet.
Should there be any issues with the CPU and OS X just because of the stepping revision?
Can't wait to Geekbench the 3.8Ghz and 4.0Ghz.

Definitely no problem about the revision... Have you already OC'ed it at 4GHz ?
What cooling method ?

Yeah. 4.015Ghz reached and I've got a picture. However, it's not stable.it took 1.475v to boot into Windows, I think it'll take around 1.52-1.5 to stabilize it. @ about 1.6v I can probably boot a 4.2Ghz Clock.
I'm on Air. Enzotech Ultra-X
@ 3.8Ghz I idle @ 48c and load @ 73c/74c (2-3c higher than Intel Thermal Spec which is BAD. Gotta reseat with new paste)
@ 4.0Ghz I tihnk the idle was like 58c. Didn't even try to Load it, I knew it was unstable.T
here ya go. 4.0Ghz Screenshot from last night. Gotta get home and boot up OS X til AS5 arrives.

f**k me. I've got to get me one of these... 16GHz of CPU power in a single socket board on AIR?!

Yeah dude. The Hype is Accurate so far.
I might have a really good week, but I'm confident when I say the average Q6600 OC should be 3.4ghz - 3.6ghz on air this time around.
I know I can stabilize the 4.0Ghz but with drastic consequences... and I am going to try to boot up at 4.2Ghz and CPU-Z Validate tonight.
Right now I am completley stable at 3.8Ghz which is freaking amazing on air. Can't wait to see what Yorkfield does.

Well I can't stabilize 4.0Ghz enough to Geekbench I'm sure. Not without 1.6v although I can boot fine @ 1.475v. =(
However, I am stable @ 3.8Ghz and 1.45v so I'll Geek, X, and Cinebench here as soon as I get P5K-E working right in OS X.

wow, what motherboard do you use? i only have a AW9D-max, and i don't think it can reach that high. I do want a P35 chip, but doesn't it has compatible issues??

Very very tempted to pick up an X3210 G0 now... It's quite a bit cheaper than the Q6600, and in stock. I guess the lower multi may limit overclock on my board though, because it seems like nothing except the P35 likes much FSB with quads

Asus P5K-E is my board.
3.6Ghz Stable. Need to wait for my enzo posts to come in before I can try 3.8Ghz again.

No problems so far with Asus P5W DH Deluxe. I'll test this weekend on P5K Deluxe I just bought

I have a stable Q6600 + 975X @3GHz (just finished 2 hours of CPUtest) however I had to drop the RAM to 667MHz (set to auto) before jacking the CPU bus..

With p5K Deluxe I'm stable at 3.4GHz with only 1,335v.
I think I can do 3.6GHz easily but I'm still learning how to deal with this memories I have.

Can you get to these speeds without overclocking the ram? Check my sig for specs, running Quad Core G0 stepping too (tuniq tower 120 hsf). The thing that is holding me back most is my hard drive i think, I only have a single 500GB Samsung Spinpoint T166. Without spending a whole lotta cash on a raid controller and another couple of HDD's i dont know what to do next.

What cooling are you using Allsop?
