I was digging around in Boxes in the Loft and found an Old MacOS 9.1 CD. I wanted to run it, just to see if I can. So I read an Article Online, I downloaded sheepshaver, inserted the Disk. In the Article, it Linked to a ROM (a legal ROM) that was specifically for SheepShaver. Does anyone know where I can get the ROM for SheepShaver?

Hi,

SheepShaver doesn't run 9.1. It can only run from 8.5 up to 9.0.4. And it needs a universal system 9 disk to install from.
The rom file can be obtained from the apple web site. Search for the Mac OS rom update 1.0 and use the program tomeviewer to unpack it. Only caveat is that that program only runs on classic. So if you can find someone with a pre OSX mac, you are in business.
