Hi, one guy gave me his macbook that he bought somewhere, and this macbook i think wasnt got legaly before the deal. so he asked me to reinstall os, but when i instert my original macbook dvd, it says that "this software can not be installed", should i try to format the disk? the problem appears after the language selection for setup and it only offers "startup disk". thank you very much

i think you might have to install 10.5 if your install wont work
