I'm getting a mac as soon as the new models come out, but before i do i would like to try it out. I tried to install uphuck v1.4 on my core duo laptop, but i am recieving "System config file '/com.apple.boot.plist' not found, when i try to boot my computer. Does anyone have an idea as to how this issue can be resolved? I am unsure if it is the uphucks installer that is causing the problems or if it is something else.
Thanks in advance,

Try an USB-drive. The internal IDE-drive is not supported in your case.

reinstall uphuck and on the main installation screen go to disk utility, select your drive, make only one partition, go to options and make sure master boot record is enabled...i had the same issue and i figure this out in other post, just give it a try.
cheers
