Alright, so im tired of trying to get my sound card working on my hackintosh. I have been able to get sound out, but no line-in/MIC input.

I was wondering if an external usb soundcard would work with my setup?

If anyone knows a brand specific product they know to work with mac's.

Griffin's iMic and Creative's XMod both work fine (neither requires drivers, and just starts working when you plug it in)

Creative's 24bit Live USB board also works equally well. That's all I'm using for my sound now. It's only stereo, but I don't have to mess with any other patches (and still not have mic in working) for my bad axe 2. You can find all of these pretty cheap on eBay.

SpeedLink USB Mini Soundcard Dongle works fine.
I paid 10 euro or so.
