Anyone else have this issue, I have the M-Audio Firewire 410 work just great on a Intel Macbook, When I boot into windows my Audio comming out of the FW 410 will be distorted and also be comming out of all the lineouts. So to remedy this, I heave to first uninstall my M-Audio Firewire 410 drivers, then Re-install them and it will work fine.
Heres the issue, when I boot back into Mac, it automatically give me a message suggesting that it's updating the drivers, and that's fine and all, but then once I boot BACK into Windows AGAIN, my Audio comming out of the FW 410 will be distorted and also be comming out of all the lineouts all over, and I'll have to go through the proccess of un-installing and re-installing those drivers. And trust me, this can be very tedius. I am running Bootcamp 1.2 with Fats formatted Windows XP SP2

There are other topics which discuss this issue, but what's happening is that each time you swap OSes, the OS has to flash the 410's firmware. Until it completes flashing, you get the distortion. You don't actually have to reinstall the drivers, just reboot with the 410 turned on a couple of times and the OS should automatically re-flash the firmware.
Unfortunately, there's no easy swap solution for the 410.
