I followed different guides to get ci/qe supported but they all don't work or Im doing something wrong. I have an ati radeon 9600 pro agp card but in system profiler it shows it as a pci card. Its an AGP card but I don't know why it says pci. I tried using some guide that had some kext for ati radeon mobile 9600 but after I did what it said after reboot I got a System could not load kext callistohal.kext and it wasn't installed properly or something. How can I get this card to work. The system runs fast so Its no problem but I want to have the best experience.

i'm having the same card as you but sad to say, even you get it to AGP mode. there's no CI/QE for us sad.gif . currently i'm using this driver <ATI_9600_C008_AGP.pkg>, i face alot issue with Callisto which claimed it a working driver. (i dont know, i maybe wrong on Callisto but i did follow the steps, it didn't worked out for me)

Where did you get that driver? Did you configure Callisto properly? It needs a little hacking to work. Callisto is working for me, altough I got an annoying issue - the login window is stuck at 1024x768 with strange artifacts and I can't change that. Card is AGP but shows as PCI. And I still can't callibrate the monitor color using the ColorSync callibrator mad.gif .

Well when my system loads I get that error saying that callistohal.kext installed improperly. I need some way to use core image because it looks nice.

i think i could email you if you want it. <ATI PKG>

Callisto steps is pretty simple unless you want to go manually input those "crazy" numbers indicated in the ReadMe/FAQ file inside. nevertheless, still i can't get it work right.

Come on no one has a solution? I remember I had ci/qe on my old osx installation before.
delish
try installing OpenGL.framework and ATI kexts from 10.4.7
there is also a installer containing those named mobility 9600 something iirc

Okay I have no idea what happened but right now I Just checked system profiler and it says that ci/qe is supported but my gfx card is shown as a pci card. It still doesn't have the cube effect when doing user switching or anything though.

FIXED!!
I downloaded the Callisto B003 files along with kext helper and just dragged both kext to kext helper and it installed it then after reboot I have QE/CI working and everything!
