Hello,
After tinkering with the settings for about a month, and installing osx86 about 10x i stuck with having no graphics supports. I have a dell inspiron 6000 with a x300 1.86 Ghz and 512 MB Ram. I have been just editing the apple.boot.plist to graphics mode 1600x1200x32 and just turning off the lcd stretching option so that there is a good resolution and it fills up most of the screen. I was wondering if there is 1 way that is confirmed to be working on a dell 6000 with a x300 to get the graphics card to work and or if I can change the graphics mode entry to a higher value which would fill most of the screen as I have a WUXGA display which is capable of supporting a resolution of 1920x 1200.

Thanks
sirfergy
Any luck?

Yeah, I got everything to run it just the way I was on my jas 10.4.8 dell inspiron. I used Callisto and koverg. First you follow the instructions given with the Callisto patch b003 then you edit the framebuffer line in the ati9700ga.kext im not sure if i labled that correctly, currently i am running vista so i have no access to file names. After you do these don't restart but install the koverg patch version 2 and you should be good to go. There are better instructions on the board just use the search tool and look for dell inspiron 6000. I am currently working out getting qe ci on leopard, i have resolution change and mouse tearing but no qe ci. hope this helps
