most of my 3d games on my computer won't launch in 9a466. how can i fix this?

Umm... all i have to say is that they aren't compatible. What are these games?

the only game i play or care about (WoW) works really well.

after re installing halo and doom, they work, but tuxracer and tuxkart dont

Are they games that require the Xwindowing system to play? There may some some problems with them bridging to the X when opened.

i dont think so... for one of them i had to convert the linux source code to run in os x

I've had many games not work anymore with 9A466. They launch but you can't see the video, you only hear sound so you have to force quit it. I think it has to do with how some apps were written, they somehow don't access the video hardware directly but rather through the OS, and the software framework has probably changed from Tiger to Leopard.
