Ok, I figured I'd give one last try on my HP. Got 10.4.8 from JaS running. Graphics are working, but Ethernet and Audio just don't work out of the box. The Ethernet is a Intel 82562V, and the Audio is Realktek ALC 885. If I could get these two things working, it would be awesome! It's great to be back

To my knoledge, both of those work. ill get some files and give them to you.

-EDIT- Ok sound worx for you so ok. and for internet get the IONetworkingFamily.kext from 10.4.6. if that doesnt work then try a cheap PCI NIC card

Ah ok, could someone get me a IONetworkingFamily.kext from 10.4.6? I don't happen to have that disc.

Were you finally able to get both your audio and ethernet to work? Which .kext files did you end up using?

in osx86 10.4.10 (mcnub)

Anyone can send/post a tutorial and package to get my audio working?

- ALC882 AppleHDA v0.4b 2.mpkg
- AzaliaAudio.pkg
