Hello.

I've found (what I think is) a good deal on a motherboard and processor combo. I want it to run OSX86.

You can find its product page at: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&CatId=1619

- Chipset: NVIDIA nForce4 SLI
- Processor Interface: Socket 939
- Front Side Bus: 1000MHz (2000 MT/s)

Audio: Realtek ALC850

it doesn't say what the SATA chipset is; I assume it's integrated with the southbridge now? (I haven't built a PC in four years)

It also doesn't say what the NIC is. I assumed I'd have to buy a PCI NIC anyway. What's a good NIC that will run on OS X?

I have read the Wiki; It says that this audio is OK; the only thing I can't really find anything about is nforce 4. It doesn't like my search terms or something.

Anyway, I'm just about to buy this one, OS X on it would be nice.
VooD
Itīs AMD based.

END OF CRITIC.

I have a pretty nice athlon x2 nforce4 based setup, and...believe me...Intel is the way to go.

Os X would never work as good as if you had choosen a Core 2 Duo
