My old P3 700MHz laptop with 128MB of RAM could run Windows XP.

AppleTV has no bios, only EFI
Windows (XP, Vista) need bios, can't boot using EFI only
Therefore, until this condition changes, the AppleTV will never run Windows.

macbook pros, macbooks, imacs, mac minis, and mac pros also have an EFI which provides a bios compatibility layer which makes the whole bootcamp deal possible. The AppleTV is pure EFI with no bios compatibility layer. No bios compatibility layer = no windows.
