Hey,

I thought it was time for me to buy a new PC, and eventually a new motherboard.

I was thinking about the Asus P5W DH Deluxe, it seems to be "fashion" nowadays.

So, what do you think about this one ? I really want one of the best to overclock a Core2Duo. I used to buying ABIT motherboards to overclock, but it seems Asus is the best.

Finally, I really want a stable motherboard not only for MacOS (yes, I want it to be fully compatible, but I think the ASUS is fine) but for Windows too.

Basically, is it the best to overclock, to use OSX and Windows ? Or is it too old ?

Thanks.

Intel Desktop Board D975XBX2, that one ? it's a bit more expansive than ASUS....

P5W-DH is rock solid and hasslefree with osx86. I own one.
But, the OC potential is not so great.

A P5B Deluxe would be better for OC.

I'd recommend a Bad Axe II. Such a good board, great OC, almost everything working out of the box... like the P5W-DH but with greater OC.

And what about the WIFI on bad axe 2 ? I know the one with the P5W works, not straight out of the box but with some 3rd party drivers...
