is it technially possible to hardwire a VideoCard onto an ExpressCard

im wondering this beacuse i have the ATi Xpress 200m

if it is possible anyone have any ideas on how to get started on it?

Interface-wise, yes, but you'd really have a problem with power! the card will need external power, no notebook would supply the 30-100 Watts an up to date GPU would eat!

The box that (Asus?) made, is using special transmitter-circuits in the Expresscard and the box to transfer these signals over a long stretch. You can't move the bus so long without special thoughts on data-integrity.

So the short answer is, no can do. I'm pretty good at electronics, but that's beyond my skills - and many others.
