but you can try on goole to search for "cedega 1920x1200"
and change the config from the ~/Library/Preferences/
same with the games wich are not running
google will help you a lot.
Also... seems that cs1.6 has some problems with cedega.
i'll download cs16 and rest of the games (oblivion, gta...) to test
and i will keep you guys posted

Oblivion doesn't work, I tried disabling shaders and everything but all 3D part are like solid white with some black polygones. The menu is slow and the mouse too sensitive.
I tried those :
Oblivion not working (only 2D, slow,bad mouse support)
Secret Files Tunguska not working (only intro videos)
Guild Wars not working (crash instantly)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R not working
I'll try some others and report back.

One more games that is running near-perfect:
GTA San Andreas Used max setting with 1680x1050

There are problems with mouses sensitivity and all the people in the game have missing textures! The textures are present in some cut-scenes... But I suppose these are minor issues that can be easily fixed with some tweaking.
NFSC don't seem to have these problems but can't use widescreen resolution

EDIT: Somehow I managed to mess up vice city and san andreas

hi guys
thanks for the files & the info... i'm having a bit of trouble getting the heroes framework running, the only crack i've found won't patch my FreeverseLib file, it says the file doesn't match. please could anyone share either a crack that works with the version of heroes posted in this thread, or a pre-patched copy of the FreeverseLib? thanks!

hmm...
i see that the graphics quality differs with different gfx cards even with proper drivers.
My Hackintosh's 7600GT plays need for speed most wanted badly.
It lags (not really that bad but it's horrid compared to xp) and there's a few gfx errors where as Gerard Slee's ATI X1600 on his MBP seems to perform smoothly without any gfx glitches.
I'm assuming that the Ciger engine has been optimized for the gfx cards in original macs.
some one correct me if i'm wrong though.
So we probably have to live with the glitches

I found a fix the the mouse glitches!!
Go to ~/library/preferences/Heros of Might and Magic V Preferences and open Config
Find
"AbsoluteMouseSensitivity" = "100"
and change it to
"AbsoluteMouseSensitivity" = "1"
or whatever feels confortable

Tried it on a MBP and NFSC isn't that smooth when there are lots of car in the screen, specially at the beginning. Otherwise, no glitches but I can't enable motion blur and road reflections so the game looks like {censored} compared to the DX9 version.

Has anyone gotten Steam to work? It works on Crossover but it is really slow. My brother plays Garry's Mod a lot. I (after much convincing) installed OSX on his AMD System. He has a 6600GT. It works using Crossover, but is slow. If I use Cedega it just crashes. No errors, no nothing.
If games are running slow on your computers, disable BeamSync. It nearly doubled my Frame Rates. Also is Cedega faster or slower compared to Crossover?

i'd say it's faster than Crossover.
I was playing CS 1.6 on crossover and althought the speed was ok.. there was a few minor gfx performance lags.
(which really shouldn't happen considering the low system requirements of the game).
On the other hand, Ciger handles Need for speed decently which is alot more gfx intensive.

Ok, I installed my retail copy of Battlefield 2 and patched it to version 1.41. Mouse sensitivity was way too high, but fixed thanks to Suzuka. Changed emulated Windows version to winxp, doesn't fix anything. Anyway, it looks like this:

Note: the full version runs right away. To get the demo working i had to change the pixel shader version from 1.4 to 2.0. But same result as above. Multiplayer doesn't work, game crashes.

I DID IT! I got Oblivion to run at playable speeds, the only problem is, the mouse is a little twitchy, Unfortunitly, you wont get to far, once you exit the Sewers, the game will crash
heres my Oblivion.ini file, put it in
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/Heroes of Might and Magic V Preferences/p_drive/My Documents/My Games/Oblivion
There are also some other changes to your config file (Located at /Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/Heroes of Might and Magic V Preferences )
find
"PixelShadersLevel" = "1.4"
and change it to
"PixelShadersLevel" = "2.0"
and find
"AbsoluteMouseSensitivity" = "100" (or simmilar)
and change to
"AbsoluteMouseSensitivity" = "1"
