I've tried OS X Tiger on my VMware to test whether it works or not. Fortunately, it installed and runs great smile.gif . However, the sound does not work (RealTek AC97 on a K8M800 motherboard w/ Athlon64 3000+... not venice core so no sse3).

Anyway, the question is, will the audio work if I install it on my computer? Or will it not work as how it didn't in vmware?

My understanding is that audio won't work in VMWare, not sure I've seen anyone that mentioned it working. But there is a tutorial here on how to get sound working with AC97 compatible cards if it doesn't work right off (often does).

worked for me

Dell D600 laptop

Good luck

The sound will work on VMWare with proper kext. Also in native if it is not an Intel MoBo you need to edit Info.plist with your DeviceID.
Prot
just to remind you that SiS sound chipset is not supported

i guess your mobo is not SiS anyways.
