My config is amd 3200+, radeon x1600pro 256 pci-e, 1g in dual chanel.
I have serious problems with system performance when I run windows in parallels.
Is it the problem of foreign CPU type or I simply need an x2?

Parallels are mach more comfortable, and I don't think the diference in performance would be radical.

Parallels utilizes the Intel chip’s hardware virtualization technology (VT) (if supported) to speed things up
I have a cpu with VT and the difference is huge

I know about intel vt and that intel is just more native for osx then amd. So the question is could the x2 drammaticaly change the situation or changing the platform is the only issue?
I'm about buying a powerbook, so investing money in a pc desktop doesn't look tasty at all. But I won't install win as a home os. =)
