Full Version: Network card worked in 10.4.1 but not 10.4.3?

Was using a 3c900 10mbit card for OSX, because nForce Lan doesn't. But now since installing 10.4.3 it doesn't work. It assigns it mac address, but won't read link status. Any ideas as to what's up?

Anyone? I just reinstalled 10.4.1 to make sure the card was still good, and it was... so it's something with 10.4.3. sad.gif

I noticed some weirdness with my card (3c905) - much slower network (DNS lookups take forever), stuff like that. No idea why, just that the networking side of 10.4.3 seems a bit broken...

Intel Pro/100 cards work like a champ still in 10.4.3, but lots of people are having more issues with networking this time around for sure.

Well a 10.4.3 reinstall seems to somehow have fixed it. Posting now from 10.4.3 now, infact. smile.gif
