Hi everyone,

I'm running JAs 10.4.8 on a Celeron 3.06 with a Soyo P4vte mobo (VIA chipset)

My problem is that none of my usb jump drivers or thumb drives are being mounted. I went through the fourms and did a IOUSBfamily update. Even after that I cannot access the usb drives.

In system profiler I am able to see my jumpdrive detected as Kingston datatravaller 2.0 which is the correct model. But I cannot access the drive. I have a logitech LX300 wireless keyboard and mouse hooked up through the usb and they work fine.

Some people suggested that it was an ACPI problem, when i tried to disable 'ACPI aware OS' in bios OSx wont boot up.

Please help. I have read through the fourms and tried the fixes....none has worked so far.
