In near time going to buy some notebook.
All I need from it is to run mac os x on it.
And I do have only $ 1k.
What would you recommend?

You could go for the dell inspiron 6400 it sould work with some tweaks sound and vid you get a 15' screen 2 GB ram 160 GB hd there about 700 bucks
