i was wondering - how can i not have a disk appear on my desktop when i plug it in -
it fills up my desktop when i see "mac hd" "windows" "external disk 1" "external disk 2" "ipod" "flash drive" "whatever disk image is open" etc

Alias's aren't the same though. It doesn't say how much space is used, how much is free, etc... Plus, they have shortcut icons over the top. I know I'm nit-picking, but that's just me
