ok i installed macvidia's NVidia kext sucessfullly. My system info says Chipset Model: GeForce4 MX 420. However, I still can't get 1280x1024 to work. I know my LCD supports it. I have tried Graphics Mode = 1280x1024x32@60 @75 @80. Nothing seemed to work. What am I missing? Please help thanks.

Did you see if ?video at boot promp shows that your card supports 1280x1024? Graphics mode method works fine for me with GF6200

What can you do if it says its not supported? I know my MX420 supports 1280x1024...

The worthless kexts from that project don't do anything other than make the card identify better in system profiler...
