I have a western digital 80gb drive i'm try to partition with disk utility and setup using the Mac OS Extended Journaled format. When i plug the drive in i'm asked to initiliaze and disk utility opens. I setup my partitions, select partitions and i just continually get the spinning colored disk.

Previously the drive was had 2 partitions, one NTFS and one Fat32 which OS X had no problems with. I deleted the partitions and created a new partition with no formatting in Windows, set the partition as active. Anyone got any ideas?
