I've beeing looking all over the place and I can't seem to find out whether the Celeron 2.0Ghz in my Toshiba notebook supports PAE. I'm pretty sure that it's a Mobile Celeron. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. If it doesn't then I won't be able to install 10.4.3. Some please have some good news for me!! biggrin.gif Thanks!

i have been researching this too.

to my best knowledge, all celeron M's are 400mhz FSB.

and others have indicated that Centrino 400Mhz FSB chips don't do PAE.

so my guess is that Celeron M's would not do PAE and would not reboot on 10.4.3 install

that said, somone on the wiki got it working so it is quite confusing.

i am prob gonna buy the widescreen $350 laptop tommorow at office depot and so am wresting with this myself. upgrade the Celeron 360 to a Centrino 740 (i've read on intel's site Centrinos > 740 are 533Mhz FSB ). also wireless is never gonna work witht eh intel pro 2200b...fyi

Using 10.4.1, the System Profiler says that there is PAE supported. Sweet. I actually can install 10.4.3 8F1111 but I have keyboard and touchpad recognition problems. The touchpad stops working when I push any key on the keyboard and nothing works until I plug in my USB mouse/keyboard combo. Oh well.

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but why will the Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG never work?
