Well I decided to make a few About this mac graphics

To use these you need to backup the current MacOSX.tif in /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources and then delete MacOSX.tif

Then rename the file you download to MacOSX.tif and copy it to /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources

Then fix permissions.

Logout and login then view About This Mac.

Wow, these are great!

Listen, I hope someone would be kind enough to do me a favor and make me a graphic that looks like this one. I would like the same font, if at all possible. I also attached a larger, cleaner Apple logo to use. I would try to do this myself, but I suck at anything to do with graphic design. Thanks.

Once I get to CoreServices what do I do =(, I click loginapp but nothing happens

Right-click on loginwindow.app and select "Show packagae contents"

Can anyone post the original About this Mac graphic? Mine seems to have been overwritten by one of the several theme installers I've tried. Default Aqua<3.

Would you do me a favor? That is nearly the same logo I've been wanting to do. Would you mind making the tif file for me and posting it? If possible, I'd prefer that it said HackBook instead of Hackintosh though, if you could.

I made my about this mac logo, but when I load it, it comes up with a white border. I saved the file as a transparent gif, but it shows up with a white background. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks for the help in advance!
