Hey,

I've got a Gigabyte GN-WI01GT WLan card, based on the AR5006EGS-Chipset, and an Intel 3945 ABG (both miniPCI). Could you please tell me what wireless cards work fairly stable with 10.4.6, I couldnt get the ones I mentioned to work sad.gif . I've searched the board & wiki but haven't found a proper list of working cards so far (some say a card works, others say it doesnt).

Thanks a lot,
Niko

Edit: Just as info: I tried following the "use 10.4.5 kext"-guide with the Gigabyte-Card, the new kext loads without any errors but the Airport-Diamond doesnt show up, and no new card is recognized when I click on "Network" in System prefs. Under "System Info", "Airport": No info found. My LAN-Card is en0, the wireless one doenst show up at all in interfaces.plist

these Atheros based Mini PCI Express cards work in Mac OS x86, just google for them:

- AR5BXB6 or 40Y7026 (108 Mbit, used in some Apple Notebooks) - the two numbers refer to exactly the same card

- AR5006EX 802.11a/b/g mini-PCI express card (54 Mbit) --> http://pcdglobal.com/wireless.php#mini-pciModules , Part # WLL4080PCIX

Good luck smile.gif !

PS: have you gotten your Gigabyte GN-WI01GT WLan card working?
