The dark black one i had was getting a little old, so i decided to make a NeXT avatar for the 21st century (considering the original was over 20 years old)

It wasnt done in photoshop though. I took the easy way out with AquaTint and made a quick stencil in photoshop, then made it graphite colored in a matter of seconds and, BLAM, a professional aqua style avatar, although it is a little rough when you view it full size.

As you say, looks better in your sig, full size a bit rough.

I like it, but the top of the "e" looks a bit rough (in your avatar, not fullsize)

yeah, it was a 5 minute photoshop/aquatint deal. ill fix it up later on.

I would try to make it so that its resized better when using it in your avatar section.

NeXT OSX. Looks cool, the original still looks as nostaligic as ever IMHO
