Guys the OS X is recognzing my memory speed as 0 Mhz, i was thinking if exists a way to fix it?

my 2x 1gig strips are reading as unknown :-\
it's not a biggie for me, i doubt my performance is hindered. i'm running 10.4.8

Mine is coming up as unknown as well. But, as said before me, no issues in 10.4.8

Nope, just an identification problem. It's better for development time to be devoted to things beyond the cosmetic at this stage

hey an4rew, how did you get your wifi to work ?
are you on a laptop ? if so what chipset are you running ,is it intel ?

I have a similar issue: "About this Mac" isn't recognizing the full amount of memory in my rig (which is 3.5 gigs). It lists the memory as 2.75 gigs after I recently upgraded from 10.4.7 to .8 (using Egwan method).
Oddly, within the "System Profiler" each RAM stick is listed correctly, with it's proper amount... See attached pics.
Is this an issue I should worry about? Is there a fix? Is all my RAM really available for use, even so?
All else is well with the system.
