Anyone knows how?
I have a macbook pro with japanese keyboard layout, so I would like to know is there some key combination to type "\" character.
I know I can use character palette, but that is not the solution.

It is there; it just looks like the yen symbol.

yeah I know it's there, but only if I use U.S. keyboard layout (which doesn't correspond to actual key labels on japanese keyboard)
I would like to use japanese keyboard layout, and access backslash with some key combination (e.g. fn + ¥)
