Hey there guys,

First Of All I know this has been discussed before but it seems there is no solution for my problem yet.

I got an Acer TM662Lci with integrated Intel 855GM Graphics (0x3582). Only Vesa mode in 1024x768 works. Profiler tells me "no kext loaded". Therefore the DVD Player doesnt work. What I need is a driver for my Intel chipset that works on 10.4.8. Although I do know that osx86project tells me, the 855 chip works only in Vesa in 10.4.8., i thought i give it a try.

Havent found any driver that works on 10.4.8. yet. Starting to think i should stay with Linux wacko.gif

I would highly apreciate any help.

How do you launch the Vesa mode in 1024x768?
