Hi there,
Im using a Modell CPESATA3G pci-e card with simple patched AppleVIAATA.kext. Simply
modified the kext file info.list like this (Asus PB-5E method, Jmicron 363 chipset):
<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>
<string>0x31491106 0x00e310de 0x005410de 0x005510de 0x2360197b 0x2361197b 0x2363197b 0x2365197b 0x2366197</string>

Using Macintoshy's instructions, I was able to get a Bytecc BT-PESAPA to work, since it uses the JMicron 363 chipset. The device IDs in Macintoshy's original post worked for me.
I have 2 Sata drives running at 3gb on this card. I have not tested the PATA socket (note it only supports 1 drive).

Really? This is pretty awesome. Well, Sata isn't working on my chipset yet so I think I just might try Bytecc. I don't know why I didn't think of this before!
