Yes, your scanner is fully supported. You need to install the SANE twain drivers for OSX.

Simply download the following files and install them in this order:
libusb
SANE backends
SANE Preference Pane
TWAIN SANE Interface

Sorry for hijacking, but i have an benq/acer scanner and i also installed Sane. The problem i have, there must i put the firmware? The normal Linuxfolder is not there.

Yes, you have to save your scanner's firmware in a specific directory (I don't remember which, it's in sane's documentation).

Where to get the firmware from? Well, I installed the scanner in Windows and the driver placed the firmware file in the Windows directory. Just install the driver and search the firmware file
