I swapped a Intel 3945 with a Gigabyte GNWI01GT to use in Ubuntu/Kismet which it works fine with the latest madwifi snapshots. Does anyone have any advice on it working in 10.4.6? I think its a Atheros AR5006EGS Mini PCI express. I have added the string pci168c,1c to the info.plist. but no joy.
Its a fujitsu Amilo 1520 BTW
Would using the IO80211.kext from 10.4.8 work?
Bit stumped really anyone help please?

I am going to add this to the wiki as not working in 10.4.6 and buy a different atheros express card.

This card (Gigabyte GNWI01GT) works out of the box on Kalyway 10.5.1
In fact everything works on my Fujitsu Amilo 1520 except Ethernet which I am sure is an easy fix. Note that the original wifi card in this machine is an Intel 3945 which I am not sure works.
Hope this is useful to somebody out there!
