Hi everyone ,

I think I've saw a post just like this one but I couldn't find it trough search , I have two monitors and I would like to know
if there is any change to use both like I use in Windows . I've read that Natit supports it but unfurtunetly I use Titan.kext ,
for some motive Natit installs fine but when the OS X will boot ( GUI ) I get a black screen and that's it ( the monitor shows
a message for me to change the res. to 1280x1024 and then the black screen ) , if someone know how to fix Natit or to
change Titan to get both working ( what , of course , would be much simpler for me than installing Natit and editing hundred
kexts and testing ) I would very thankful biggrin.gif
If this has been posted before , I'm very sorry but I couldn't find it trough search , and sorry for the bad english , it's not
my native language ^^

Thank you very much ,
Chaos

I have a Dualview setup on macosx and no problems NOW. I had some hassle setting up the refresh rates of my monitors as they are CRT and one didn't get detected correctly, but that's fixed now:) Basically they worked right out of the box.

I dunno how I can help but if you want me to, just ask something you want to know and I might be able to supply you the information you need smile.gif

I have the Titan driver also and dual monitor is not working either. What do I need to do to get it to work? Do I have to uninstall Titan and install Natit? Is there a guide or how-to to do this?
ChaosVx
jporter : Well you installed Titan.kext or Natit ? ( If it was Natit , with the installer or manually ) I think that would
help so I could try to figure it out what to do ( if you use Titan.kext , could you please post the file here ? ) , anyway
I think that your card is Dual-DVI ( if I'm not wrong , mine not , mine have one VGA and one DVI ) so that can be a reason
for it to work out-of-the-box . Sorry for abusing and thanks for the reply !

BebopBlues : There are guides for Natit , but at least for me , installer didn't work , didn't try the manual thou .

Thank you very much jporter !
( I'm seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel ^^ )

Regards ,

To install Natit if you have titan running is to copy the titan.kext to a backup directory and delete the one in System/Library/Extensions
then copy natit.kext (The Dual Monitor one) into System/Library/Extensions set permissions and delete Extensions.kextcache and extensions.mkext

sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions
sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache
sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

only some cards support screen spanning
eg
gigabyte X1600 pro - not supported, dvi works (some people can get other brands to work as screen spanning)
gigabyte 7300GS - not supported
winfast 7900GS - screening with dvi is supported

maybe its jsut your graphics card

Thank you, that instruction works and both monitors are working now. I also did a repair permission in Disk Util as the last step before rebooting, maybe not needed but I thought it couldn't hurt. Weird thing is my 2nd monitor is showing only one resolution, which is 1600x1200. I like to reduce it to 1280x1024 but there's no option for it in the little display icon next to the clock. I can't get into Displays in System Prefs, it crashes everytime. I dont' know what happened, but in the System Prefs, it crashes when I try to open these options: Security, Displays, Keyboard and Mouse, and Sounds.

So no news on this subject of dual extended displays... ?

Would be great for a lot of us if this could be solved.
