Hi. I have Dell GX270 with 10.4.8 SSE2. Will front row work on my computer? I have QE/CI fully supported on my Asus nVidia GForce 6200. I tried many ways to have it working and no results. Is it possible at all?
best regards

Awesome!
Been hacking away at several of the tutorials for this with no luck at all. then i found this thread and front Row works for me now!
You have to launch it from apps - then while the icon is in the dock hit enter and escape - at least that is what did it for me.
thank you so much for this.

Theres a whole thread on this!
ClickyThe best way involves editing a kext, which depends on your mouse, to trick os x into thinking you have the apple remote plugged in. I have it working here on 10.4.8

Link down still, can anyone rehost this?
Also, is there a way to use my 3 button scroll PS/2 mouse with Frontrow?

Put this in /System/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Plugins/
delete extensions kext cache files.
Install Front row using pacifist.
Repair permissions.
Reboot...
Press CMD-Esc to start front row.
Go to the activity monitor and force quit one of the front row processes (there should be 2) Doesn't matter which one.
Then it should either appear after that or press CMD-Esc again to get it to come up.
I did this exactly and It worked fine. May not work for you but give it a try.

Hi, Neo. Thanks for the installer. While the script seemed to run perfectly, I still can not get Front Row to launch...
I know that Front Row is properly installed because when I boot up from the same drive using a MacBook, Front Row launches with no probs. But on the Mac Pro, it just won't do it... I've tried plugging and unplugging the Mighty Mouse hundreds of times already.

This morning, I tried doing a clean install of OS X on my computer then immediately running the script, but still no luck...
