Hi there, since my Dell Latitude D620 has the notorious Sigmatel 9200 sound chip, and it's not working until Taruga's Apple HDA solution able to fix it.
So what do I do if I need sound now? Yesterday I bought a pair of Logitech v10 USB notebook speaker.
It costs around US$20, just plug in and it works (not 100%)!!!
System sound effect doesn't work, but iTunes/QT/VLC/RealPlayer/browser MM plugins all working.
Although it's not a perfect solution, I'm very happy and satisfied with it
