I am looking for a cheap PCI video card (under $50) that is fully supported by OSX86. Are there any out there?

If you're dead set on a video card, as was stated before, check the OSX86 compatability wiki, however, I'm running a Motherboard with onboard GMA950, and QE/CI are enabled with the JaS 10.4.8 GMA950 patch. It works wonderfully for me! I'm still working on USB 2.0 though. However, I suggest you pick up a MoBo with GMA950 that supports a Core 2 Duo. . .*shrug* yeah, there's some expense there, but it works decently on dual booting too.

I have my monitor setup with a VGA input for my mac of the motherboard, and my DVI input is setup to my video card. That way, you can buy whatever video card you want, if it's going to be a windows machine as well. Just curious, what's the purpose of the machine? Are you custom building a new machine? Making a mac based media center. . .etc?

I'm looking for this as well, with the additional requirement/preference that it be fanless. It's not so easy to look on the compatibility wiki as there is no price info on there, so you have to continually cross-reference unless you already have a good idea of what a particular type of card costs.

If anyone does have a recommendation for an relatively inexpensive, highly osX86 compatible video card with DVI out, I'd love to hear it. Right now this is the best I've found with limited looking and cross-referencing:
