Here's what I have in About this mac:

What do I need to edit; add or whatever to make it work? I am running 10.4.8 -- not the latest JaS because it won't bootup. At one point, I could change display settings when in Safe Mode but not in any other mode.
Would someone please point me in the right direction. The files in some of the directions I'm told the edit are not there; I searched for them and they're not there.
I've searched for everything with ATI in it and they just don't exist.
Thanks for any advice from anyone. (I even updated the BIOS on the ATI card. That didn't work either.)
