I'm new to Darwin and was wondering if anyone knew of any online resources / books that are great for newbies. I did a search and theres soo many. Can someone suggest a specific one?

Thanks!

If you realy want to get "behind" it, you should check up on som basic Unix/linux!

I am just checking OSX86 out, Normaly i am Debian user, and knowing the basics of a unix system realy helped.

Aah, Darwin. Play with it.

Use man, and apropos.

Read Apple docs ( though they are TECHNICAL.)

try man man or man ls or something, read some pages, and play around.

It has many GNU commands such as GNU ls, GNU dd.. a bunch of Apple commands. newfs, hdiutil, diskutil, disktool etcetera. Play around, it's fun.
