hi all. just wondering if this mobo; MSI 865PE NEO2-FIS2R would be compatible with the jas reseed 10.4.8?

i know this is an old board but i can get a good deal on this used pc with 1GB ram, Kit w/two matched PC3200 CL2.5 DDRs, Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz, Gainward Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB
+ an ok case for 225 $.

its temting but i want to be sure it works as an hackintosh.

if any of you have experience with this board please let me know

Hi there,

I am currently using this board with "JaS SSE2 SSE3 Intel AMD PPF1 and diskutil fix included". It works great except for the USB ports that don't seem to want to recognize my Canon IP4200 or my Palm LifeDrive. You will require a fix for your network device (in this forum). Except for that everything works really fine and fast.

I am writing an installation journal and I will post it on this site as soon as I am finished configuring/testing my system.

PS: A word of advice. If you update your BIOS firmware to the latest version you might get stuck installing OSX. Use one version before the last and you'll be ok. PM me if you need any help.
