I replaced my intel wireless card with a dell 1490 in hopes that it would work with OS X. After booting, it showed up as an airport card, correct MAC, everything looked well. It gives me a list of network SSIDs in my area, so thats good. Unfortunately when I try to join one and enter the WEP key, the system either locks up immediately, or I get the "you must power off your computer" message. I havent tried it on a non-wep network.

Anyone else have any luck?
