Hi! I now have 10.4.7 (10.4.6 HOtiso install + jas update to 10.4.7) running quiet stable.

But I still have some problems:

1. There is no battery indicator. So it is not recognised as a notebook

2. When I turn on the Touchpad (Synaptics) the keyboard doesn'T work anymore, I restart and still can't use the keyboard. So I have to reinstall the whole damn system.

Try going to Terminal and type the following:

CODE

cd /System/Library
sudo chown -R root:wheel Extensions/*
(-- give password --)
sudo chmod -R 755 Extensions/*
diskutil repairPermissions /
sudo rm -rf Extensions.mkext Extensions.kextcache

Then reboot.
