I am curios to know whether or not my computer would be able to have osx86 on it or not before i get the massive torrent...

Proc: Pentium D 2.8ghz with 800mhz fsb (everest says my computer supports SSE2 and SSE3)
Mobo: Intel D945GNT
Harddrives: 4 SATA II Drives in RAID 0 configuration (Yes... they are holy balls fast)
RAM: 2 512 DDR2 667 on dual channel configuration
Video: Radeon x600xt (pci-express x16)
Network: Intel PRO/100 VE

you should do good!

Except for QE + CI for your ATI

Alright. Well I had decided to get the torrent anyways... that went fast actually... 1 hour and 30 min for 1.3gb file. Its writing the image to my partition right now. I can switch to my onboard videcard to see if that would resolve video issues as well once i get it up and running. I'll post an update once this finishes and i finish tweaking stuff to update how it went.

Yeah with 945G, I think you should be able to get onboard graphics to support QE and CI.

Ok so I'm having issues... When i tried to boot osx, the loading screen came up with the little spinny circle thing and got stuck there. I then tried booting with the parameters, -x -v. It would get stuck almost immediatly and then keep saying "Still waiting for root device" or something like that.

Alright, i figured the previous issue was caused by my sata controller being unrecognized by osx, so I installed onto an IDE test harddrive that i chuck random crap on. It got farther in the boot, however it would get stuck at some point and then turn off after a little bit. I really don't want to invest a lot of time into trying to get this to work when there really is little point to it anyways. So i'll just leave this as a failed attempt.
