OSX does not work well with nForce4 SATA. And definitely not SATA RAID.
The patch on the DVD is for nForce3.
There is a hack to the VIA SATA driver that sometimes allows access tol nForce4 SATA, but if/when it works, it ends up corrupting the data on the drive.
The only RAID that has ever worked on Hackintosh is RAID 0 and it needs to be Apple RAID 0.

Yes I now about that dicussion. But if I can fix my Sata hdds no getting off line sometimes. Itīs possible to configuring the Raid 0. Like I said Mac Girl was configured a raid 0 into an nforce 4. She says wich modifing some kexts puts to work the nforce raid. I was sended an MP to Mac girl but she didn`t answer.
I tried this post to check if someone has an idea to configuring this raid solution.
I tried to configure an stripping with two Sata WD II only with MAC journaled partitions. But no works because the disk some times are recognized ans some times do not work. The os installation is in a WD ide device.
By the way into A8n_sli works all great with an overcloking. The only think wich not work is the sata controller.
thanks a lot people for the assistant.

Sorry, I read your PM but can't replied in that moment.
Yes you can set up a RAID but not from BIOS, you can make it with Disk Utility, but be aware that it can't boot, it could be used for DATA only, means you can have it there, applications, user data (even home files), virtual memory file, etc but the system.
I make a RAID 0 set but not with SATA disks, I made it with PATA disks, now with hacked/modified AppleVIAATA kext you can make a STA RAID (with Disk utility ofcourse) if you Have a Sillicon Image chip in your board (3114 with many nForce 4 boards, newer boards have 3132 and 3124 chips that already have supported kexts from the vendor, but none of them can boot).
