So who here is getting a Wii, in Eastern time there is 1 day 3 hours 19 minutes and 36 seconds left, I reserved it a while back, and this last day is gunna be long ; I also Have LoZ Twilight Princes for it, so who else is going to/want to buy one?

i'm going to try to get one, can't wait:D They didnt do preorders here in Canada(well only at Toys R Us) so im going to be lineing up early sunday morning

I have to wait until December 8 here in Norway, but I'm definitley going to get one asap.

I have a feeling the Wii may be more fun for non-traditional people, like my girlfriend... so yeah it might be a good choice.

henbjo, dont be a fool and wait a few weeks like i did, the price is about 450$ here in america since you cant get it in stores for a few months (sold out) LINE UP OR DONT GET A WII TILL AFTER CHRISTMAS!

I'm going to get one after they get the DVD playback feature sometime next year.

i dont really care about that feature, id rather just watch it on HD on my tv. Geez your patient though, i NEED to have a next gen conole by 07.

I've had a Wii for a while, and just got a PS3. I havent played my Wii for about a month and a half, i think its boring as hell.

I've got two. Both are fun to play with.

The Wiimote controller uses motion sensing; it relies on the user to interact with and manipulate items on screen via movement and pointing, and it has absolutely nothing to do with homosexuality.

i guess you don't want a ps3 either. it has motion controls too

though they are a pale, tacked on rip off of the wii controls

The Wii doesnt do it for me tbh. Motion Sensing doesnt automatically equal innovative or fun gameplay. If I want to game, I do it on the best platform available: Windows! Battlefield, Counterstrike, all the MMOs and tons of 1337 sauce RTS and RPGs. I also have a 360 cause some times awesome 360 exclusive games come out.

almost 10 million wii's sold in 8 months... nintendo must have done something right
