I would like to know if MPC2500 can be used with Logic . Will it be recognized ? If so , what capabilities and functions does it have ?

That is a nice piece of kit!

What you'll be able to get by using it with logic is the following:

MMC:- the play, stop and skip controls on the MPC will control logic
MTC:- the MPC will sync its sequencer with logic
MIDI input control:- the obvious - the pads can be used as triggers for logic - great for the exs24!!
Remote sampling:- you could use the MPC as a remote sampler to logic - i know you can use akai samples in the exs24, but theres something about the sound of the MPC outputs don't you think?

To get all that working, you'll need to make yourself a logic environment and probably edit some of the MPCs MIDI output parameters to match everything up, but its not that hard biggrin.gif

There are probably some more things that you'll be able to do, but those are the basics that i know without reading through the manual.

Hope that helps...
