Hi all, i'm a blues guitarist and a singer. I like to register my poor performance...
I'm looking for the best recording solution for my freshly built hackintosh smile.gif

I need something that can import midi files, then i usually replace midi track with real instruments (mostly guitar, bass and voice).
i don't need super pro features.... 10 audio tracks,a good drum module and few other midi tracks would be enough.
With microsoft i used Ableton live with Native Instruments Guitar Rig or Combos and Battery.
I have a m-audio usb soundcard and a fast Hackintosh (127 xbench score).
Any suggestion is appreciated! smile.gif

you could give pro tool Mpowered a shot, since you already have an m-audio sound card with will be a little cheaper than LE. They're a ltitle pick about what kind of CPU you use right now, but its the only thing that works on intel macs right now that i would recommend.

thanks for your suggestion...
i know pro tools maybe it's a bit too much for my needs...
i'd like to use logic express... but it crashes everytime i open it... with this console logs:

Oct 16 20:29:07 marco-oks-computer configd[498]: No AirPort Driver found.
Oct 16 20:29:07 marco-oks-computer configd[498]: LINKLOCAL: inet6_attach_interface(en0) failed, File exists (17)

i suppose that many people are able to run logic on hackintosh except me ;(
