Hi Guys n Gals,
I noticed XBench is returning rather low QE and CI scores - my box returned a overall score of about 37 which is plainly wrong. The UI test was returning a score of 10 - it plainly runs a lot faster than that!

A little looking about found the problem; the graphics are locked to the vertical retrace but it looks like XBench is not taking this into account. I proved this by increasing my monitor frequency from 60Hz to 75Hz - my scores increased (UI test now returning 30).

To get a truer feeling of the machines score, I used Quartz Debug (from the developer tools0 to turn off beam sync for the monitor. Scores rocketted up (ignoring the vecLib score) and now look more sensible (around 85). The UI test now returns 98 which is much more sensible.

I don't think those results are low, A think higher result are on Nvicia and ATI super cards like Geforce 6800 and RX800.

EDIT: I have 114 and 141 scores with my Geforce 6600, not bad eh!
