is anyone there who has edited his keyboard layout to run with every single win keyboard - even with every language and layout. e.g. the @ in German win is [Alt Gr]+[Q] bit in Mac it's [Apfel]+[L]...?????

Copy the file inside the archive to Library/Keyboard Layouts and select "German - Microsoft" in System Preferences/International/Input Menu.

And the *proper* name for the layout I believe is German - IBM wink.gif

I was trying to get a norwegian layout as well. I was unable to extract the necessary files form the standard keyboard layout files to edit, am not familiar enough with resource bundle files etc..

But it shows up as German - Microsoft here. Doesn't work for my Notebook-Keyboard though. Maybe only with MS-Keyboards? At least with my Wireless Desktop Elite it works fine.

No, I am just saying that Microsoft did not make the "regular" pc keyboard layout but IBM did.
Therefore German - IBM og German - PC smile.gif

Where did you get the German pc layout?

Rename .bundle to .keylayout dry.gif and log out.
